How to choose wellness
Wellness products are the most label-driven category on the menu. Here is how to read them.
- Tinctures are liquid extracts taken under the tongue with a dropper. Labels give total milligrams per bottle and per millilitre so you can measure a dose precisely.
- Topicals such as balms, lotions and patches are applied to the skin. Papa & Barkley's Releaf balm and patches are the mainstays.
- Capsules and tablets are swallowed like a supplement. Emerald Bay Extracts tablets come in 25 mg and 50 mg strengths and in strain-specific varieties.
- Ratios. A 1:1 product has equal THC and CBD; 3:1 CBD:THC products are CBD-forward. Ratios are printed on every pack.
- Syrups. Emerald Bay's unflavoured syrup tincture (1,000 mg) is a high-strength option that can be measured out in small amounts.
